Just A Note About Inking VIRTUAL Class

Make your cards come to life with ink!  Inking can elevate your projects and allows you to easily customize your designs to get exactly the look you want.

This class is designed to be great for crafters of all levels.  If you are relatively new to crafting & inking, we will cover some techniques that are easy to learn and can quickly elevate your projects.  If you are a more seasoned crafter, this class was designed with you in mind, also!  We are going to review and practice techniques you might already know, and talk a lot about proper technique, tools, inks and probably anything else I think of during class.

In class we are going to cover some simple stamping techniques, and learn just how easy the Altenew layering dies are to put together with their unique system.  You will have a great selection of sentiments for your cards, so you can personalize them as you like.  And because the stamp & die set is INCLUDED with class, you’ll be able to practice and create these cards again and again…

This class is designed to be a technique focused class, so we will be focusing on creating the backgrounds.  I will make sure we get at least one mailbox finished in class, but other finishing elements may be left for you to finish later as time permits…

I am using the Simon Hurley Stellar Inks with the new foam pad, which I am in love with.  The foam makes it even easier to pick up color onto your tools, do quick ink-to-paper techniques, and they stamp beautifully (which we will be doing with colors in class).  You can use other translucent DYE inks that you might have, but if you would like these inks for class, please let me know when you register so I can have them available.  If you have questions about the inks you have versus what you need, please ask at the time of registration…

Nocturne Versafine Clair (or other GOOD black stamping ink)

2-3 medium stamp blocks

Ranger Ink Blending tools (at least 2, 5 would be great!)

5 clean ink foams

Die Pick

Gem Picker

Tweezers

Scissors

Brush for splattering

Fine tip/detail glue

Baby wipes/paper towels

For virtual Class:

White splatter medium

Decorative circle dies (if you don’t have these, please let me know so I can prep your kit differently)
